USA Wrestling’s National Education Program (NCEP) is a must for all levels of coaches in the United States. Learning and improving upon techniques, but also tactics, practice preparation, liability, communication skills, and all of the important building blocks of being a successful coach is a professional responsibility. And it pays off! Lessons learned in my Silver Certification were directly applied to Penn and Dave Schultz Wrestling Club competitors, including Brandon Slay’s 3-Year Athlete Development Plan that led to Olympic Gold.
