Perry Goes 1-1 at Golden Grand Prix

This Thanksgiving, while most were at home enjoying the comforts of family, friends, and home cooked meals, PRTC resident athlete, Richard Perry, traveled across the world to take on elite competition at the Golden Grand Prix in Baku, Azerbaijan. Perry won his first match teching Oceania Championship gold medalist, Toby Fitzpatrick of New Zealand 10-0. In his second match, he lost to Turkey’s Ahmed Bilici, 6-2. Bilici, a staple in the international scene since 2004, went on to place 5th.

Next weekend, PRTC athlete, B.J. Futrell, will be competing with Titan Mercury at the World Wrestling Club’s Cup in Kharkov, Ukraine.
