Mark Hall Downs Drew Foster at Fca "Truth and Technique" Event

Published June 21st, 2021 by PRTC Wrestling

Hall's bout with Foster was part of a five-match card.

Charlotte, NC – Coach Slay, Mark Hall and David McFadden joined FCA Wrestling last Friday night for its inaugural “Truth and Technique” event. The five-bout card was hosted by Elevation Church and broadcast live via their YouTube channel.

Hall competed in the main event against UNI grad Drew Foster, a 2019 NCAA champion. McFadden assisted Coach Slay with coaching duties. Coach Slay also provided color commentary for the other four matches.

Hall recently lost to Foster in the third-place bout of the Last Chance Qualifier in March. This was an opportunity to even the series with his new rival.

Coming out strong in the first period, Hall scored two takedowns to Foster’s one, taking a 4-2 lead into the break.

He never looked back as he scored on a high crotch quickly in the second period. A snap down to go behind followed by a couple of turns with a leg lace resulted in a 12-2 Hall victory by superiority.

Hall’s next competition is the World Team Trials in September.
