The leg lace is one of the most dangerous moves in wrestling because it can allow you to quickly end a match once you have it locked up. When going for a leg lace be sure to keep your head down, your back bent, and your hips out. First you want to head butt the mat, and table the leg on your quad with your shoulder beneath your opponent’s crotch applying downward pressure. With your opposite hand, reach across his far knee, and block his kneecap with your kneecap, remaining parallel. Scoop his knees together, and then thread your hand and punch through. Remain on your toes, drop your chest back and continue to drive forward before putting it back on the table. Use your free hand to punch above the knee, and finish by driving all the way through.
