On the heels of qualifying for the U.S. Olympics Trials, Joey McKenna of the Pennsylvania Regional Training Center, is set to compete at two prominent international freestyle tournaments this January.
USA Wrestling named McKenna to its roster for the Matteo Pellicone International in Rome, Italy to be held Jan. 15-18. McKenna will compete at 65g on the final day. The highly competitive tournament kicks off United World Wrestling’s 2020 Ranking Series and will be broadcast live on FloWrestling.org.
McKenna will also wrestle at the prestigious Ivan Yarygin Memorial in Krasnoyarsk, Russia, which is set for Jan. 24-27 and will also be streamed live on FloWrestling.org.
