Matt Valenti

Associate Athletic Director, University of Pennsylvania

Valenti is a two-time NCAA Division I national champion from the University of Pennsylvania. He won the 133 pound weight class at the NCAA tournament in both 2006 and 2007 and finished in 5th place in 2004 at 125 pounds. He enters his sixth season as an assistant coach with the Quakers, coaching four NCAA All-Americans, 11 EIWA finalists and two EIWA champions. Valenti also competed in freestyle where he advanced to the 2012 U.S, Olympic Team Trials semifinals. In 2010, Valenti was the Sunkist Kids International champion at 60kgs. and in 2009 he won a bronze medal at the Pan-American Championships.
